Chicago - Day 2

Starting our day with breakfast at the hotel, we were all set for another great day in Windy City - that's Chicago's nickname....which it definately earned!
We took the CTA to the Loop and got off at Merchandice Market. I wanted to see the area around that place because I recognized a lot of the buildings there from the movie "Transformers 3". Good choice! The architecture is sensational!

The only problem was, that we were freezing our butts off because of the cold wind. Of course someone forgot his gloves and his cap at home. So we decided to go to Macy's to buy it there. Good choice again! 75% discoung plus an additional 10% with the visitors pass, so 70$ became 17$!

After browsing a little bit around at Macy's, we walked the Magnificent Mile - Michigan Avenue. A lot of beatiful buildings, including an Apple Store, Chirardelli, and Hershey's - so, fuits and chocolates! :-)

We concluded the day with going to a movie theater and watched OLYMPUS HAS FALLEN. At first I was shocked by the title since it induced the fear in me, that I could drop my camera! :-)
Fortunately that hasn't happened so far, but the movie was absolutely entertaining! Therefore, it came as a surprise to me that we, actually, both liked it! ;-)
