Douglas High School

Today, it was my first day at Douglas High School. After getting up and out the door I saw that it was freezing. So let's defrost the car! :-)
I took this picture on my way to school:

After refuling the car and laughing hard about the ridiculous gas prices (ca. 0,77€/liter gasoline!!!) I arrived at Douglas High and Ms. Heine gave me a hearty welcome. I observed 3 of her English classes and enjoyed it very much. She's a great teacher and gave me a lot of ideas for my later teachings. After school I attended a staff meeting where I got to know the principal, Mr. Swisher, and got introduced to the rest of the teaching staff members. I'm definately going to have a good time here!

In the evening I prepared dinner for the three of us plus Brody. The little one is just awesome! Fernando and he could pass as brothers! :-)
